A Perfect Circle [APC] released their fourth studio album: 'Eat The Elephant' (12 Tracks) on April 20th, 2018 via BMG; in addition the band has announced an upcoming Fall tour within the U.S. and Europe. The album is available via top retailers listed: linked here and tour tickets on sale: here.
As of current, it has been years since the band's third album, Emotive (2004) while preceding albums includeThirteenth Step (2003) and Mer de Noms (2000).
This supergroup was formed in 1999 by guitarist Billy Howerdel and vocalist Maynard James Keenan (Tool, Puscifer); additional current members include guitarist James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins), drummer Jeff Friedl (Puscifer, The Beta Machine), and bassist Matt McJunkins (Eagles of Death Metal, The Beta Machine).
'Eat The Elephant' (2018) was produced by Dave Sardy (Incubus, ZZ Top); according to Consequence of Sound, this marks, "the first time APC worked with an outside producer."

The first singles from 'Eat The Elephant' that APC released were tracks #2 ("Disillusioned"), #4 ("The Doomed"), #6 ("TalkTalk") and #11 ("Feathers").
Pitchfork published the following statement from the words of frontman Maynard James Keenan; Click the text for a link to original source:
Mentioned in the quote above, the band's dear friend Carina Round is a singer/songwriter from Wolverhampton, England. Public records confirm she has been active in her career since 1996, with albums to her name while with Puscifier and with Early Winters.
Cheech & Chong are a Grammy Award winning comedic duo who gained popularity within 1971 - 1985 exploring recreational drug culture in their performances; they are active again since 2002 to present-day.
Track #02 | "Disillusioned" illustrates how the proliferation of virtual reality and smart phone technology amongst the masses has confined us against our humanity. The protagonist leaves her toxic society to discover a group of people meditating in nature, only to discover a lighter that will wake people up from their slumber. The lyrics narrate the story:
"[Verse 1] We have been overrun by our animal desire
Addicts of the immediate keep us obedient and unaware
Feeding this mutation, this Pavlovian despair -
[Chorus] Time to put the silicon obsession down
Take a look around, find a way in the silence
Lie supine away with your back to the ground
Dis- and re-connect to the resonance now
You were never an island- " [via Genius]

Track #04 | "The Doomed" commences with softer instrumentals but takes a shift at mark 3M:41 because suddenly the energy heightens with the drums, guitar; while the lyrics accelerate in pace. Truly a strong conclusion; the music video accentuates portrait-mode of the band members in black and white.
Track #05 | "So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish" is a music video comprised of dolphins swimming against the current, which is stunning! This is one of their most eccentrically positive and upbeat songs out of the album instrumentally. The lyrics include:
"Time is money and money's time;
We wasted every second dime;
On diets, lawyers, shrinks and apps and flags and plastic surgery;
Now Willy Wonka, Major Tom, Ali, and Leia have moved on;
Signal the final curtain call in all its atomic pageantry -" [via Genius]
Track #06 | "TalkTalk" visually, is a gif of the heart as an octopus pulsing within someone's hands. Instrumentally, this song also picks up: around 1M:33 is a precedent for a stronger crescendo that occurs 3M:11. An inspirational piece, beautifully composed!
Track #12 | "Get The Lead Out" is my favorite song out of this album; hands-down. It is also the most unique out of them all, in that the genre can be described as progressive electro-house with drone elements! The vocals are scratched or echoed, the bass is club-worthy, the programming is dynamic, fun, dance-worthy yet dramatic and melancholic. DJ's out there: would love to hear this track sampled and re-mixed in various ways; solid!
