David McNally for whom the beer flowsphoto: www.sipwhiskey.com Hey y’all, long time no talk! This past Monday, January 14, Metallica in collaboration with Stone Brewing Co. released their very own Enter Night pilsner. An announcement that truly rocked two worlds that suddenly collided. Enter Night is described as "a hoppy pilsner played through a distortion pedal" and is available now at select locations. This adult beverage checks in at 5.7% ABV and is served in a METAL can. I'd like to imagine that opening the can itself sounds like Hetfield screeching "ENTER NIGHHHIIGHT," but that's just me. The brew was previously only available to fans that attended Metallica shows in the fall of 2018. Although James Hetfield is a reformed man and leads a straight-edge life, drummer Lars Ulrish explained in a recent interview with USA Today that "[the band] wanted to create something that would be good to drink, (when) maybe you are tailgating outside a venue waiting to get into a concert. We wanted to have a very drinkable beer and one that would not, you know, knock your socks off."
Would you try Enter Pilsner? Keep your eyes peeled for an exclusive Headrush TV taste test.
