The Picturebooks have teamed up with Consequence Of Sound and released “I Need That Oooh.” The song feels like you just entered your first dive bar after having driven miles on your Harley. It’s heavy and seductive. The song makes the hairs on your neck stand up at attention to every rift. This is the second song released in anticipation for the 14 track album Home Is A Heartache.
“I need that Oooh” comes from band’s need for inspiration and motivation when on the road. Many artists often have to deal with fatigue on the road. Flynn Claus Grabke created the melody and Phillip Mirtschink planned out the drums in his head. Many iPhone recordings were taken on the spot. When they had returned home from the tour they immediately went to work in the studio and had a finished song within few days.
Home Is A Heartache is the first album that The Picturebooks will be releasing with Another Century. Judging from the first two songs the band has already released including “Zero Fucks Given,” this album will keep blues-rockers entertained. If you have not heard The Picturebooks you can listen to “I Need That Oooh” here. Home Is A Heartache is set for release March 10th!
