Come on, you didn't think the Foo Fighters were going to put out a new record and not go on tour did you? Yes, the band has announced just today their plans for a 2018 North American tour in promotion of their latest record, Concrete and Gold.
The tour is scheduled for a middle-of-spring to middle-of-summer time frame starting April 18, 2018 in Austin, Texas at the Austin360 Amphitheater and ending July 29, 2018 in Chicago, Illinois at Wrigley Field. However, the tour will be split into two separate legs with the first leg ending May 3 in Memphis, Tennessee at the Fed Ex Forum, which is the date of a rescheduled show for tomorrow the 24th. The second leg of the tour will begin July 7 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the BB&T Pavilion. For all the Boston fans, get ready for a double-header at Fenway Park July 21 and 22.
Regular tickets are set to go on sale Friday, Nov. 3 at 10AM local time. However the Chicago date will go on sale Nov. 10. On Thursday, Oct. 26 at 10AM local time, Capital One will be hosting a cardholder pre-sale that runs through Saturday, Oct. 28 at 10AM local time or until pre-sale tickets are gone.
