The Foo Fighters continue to delight fans with fresh material. The band debuted a new song on July 3rd at the Accor Hotels Arena in Paris. “Dirty Water” gives us another taste of the upcoming studio album Concrete and Gold, and we can’t wait for more.
The first half of “Dirty Water” is fairly mellow with gentle harmonies and chords. Small bursts of intensity offer a glimpse of what rock-out worthy energy is to come. After a slight pause midway, heavier rock chords and a driving force ensue for the rest of the track’s duration.
The Foo Fighters also performed their first single off the new album, “Run.” “Dirty Water” is the fourth song to be premiered live after “Sunday Rain” and “Lah Dee Dah.”
You can experience Concrete and Gold in its entirety on September 15. The album will be released via Roswell Records / RCA.
The Foo Fighters begin their U.S. tour at the Cal Jam Festival on October 7.
