Vicky Branca Fans of Linkin Park and music in general have been mourning Chester Bennington since his passing on July 20th of this year, and have strongly kept his memory alive.
Fellow musicians have gathered together to honor Chester, whether it be a fan covering their favorite Linkin Park song on YouTube like Peter Hollens and Jonathan Young, to One Republic honoring both Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington with Chris’s daughter, Toni, on Good Morning America. Linkin Park will continue on and perform a tribute to Chester on October 27th at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. While the tribute was declared as a public event in August, it has been upgraded to a concert that has since sold out. The night will consist of Linkin Park themselves, but also other musicians to help celebrate Chester’s legacy. While the concert has not surprisingly sold out, you can see be apart of it by live streaming it on the band’s YouTube channel at 7:45 PST. Who’s tuning in?
