By Vicky Branca It’s October and fall is in full swing - leaves are changing, the weather is giving mixed signals about whether you should dress for warm or cool temperatures, apples are being picked, pumpkins being carved/painted, and houses are being decorated for the most wonderful time of the year - Halloween. In between googling cheap but clever costumes and eating another pumpkin shaped Reese's, you’re gonna want some tunes to keep the autumnal juices flowing. Check out the list down below and let us know your favorites! 1. Monster Mash - Bobby Pickett This might conjure up memories of elementary school halloween parties, but hey, it’s a classic. 2. Thriller - Michael Jackson Almost every Halloween movie has a zombie/skeleton dance number to this song. Heck, the music video is a production in itself. It’s catchy, it’s fun, and it’s impossible to not sing along. 3. This Is Halloween - Marilyn Manson It seems like a crime to not watch A Nightmare Before Christmas during the Halloween season, and the song has become the anthem for holiday. Many artists have covered the song, including Panic! At The Disco. Here is their version as well: 4. It’s Almost Halloween - Panic! At The Disco Enough said. 5. I Put A Spell On You - Bette Midler I remember being scared by Hocus Pocus as a little kid. Now? I realize how amazing the soundtrack was.
Let us know if we missed your favorite Halloween song!
