By Jordan Lindley Rock group Taking Back Sunday has recently announced a fall tour supporting their newest album, Tidal Wave, due to release on September 16, 2016 via Hopeless Records. The band hopes to play in smaller venues than usual, in order to present this new material to fans in an honest and intimate way. Taking Back Sunday’s performance will encompass most of each show on the tour, since it will be only two bands, including Sunday, on any given night. The bands touring with them will rotate through the length of the tour, primarily featuring You Blew It!, then ushering in Loose Talk for two days, and from October 5 through 11, showcasing Mammoth Indigo as the opener. As far as the album goes, Tidal Wave promises to bring a huge sound as well as great stories and honest lyrics in each song. This being Taking Back Sunday’s eighth full-length album, Tidal Wave offers a look inside the individual and shared lives of the esteemed rock group while, at the same time, bringing about a new side of the band’s musicality in order to bring the meaning behind the songs to the forefront. Tidal Wave will be released on September 16, 2016, and Taking Back Sunday’s tour promoting it will begin on the 17th . Taking Back Sunday Fall 2016 Tour Dates
