By Camran Ferrier Valleyheart ended their tour at home inside Koto Grill and Sushi in the small town of Salem, Massachusetts to a very receptive audience of their fans and hometown friends. They have recently been signed to Rise Records, alongside bands like Of Mice & Men, Devil Wears Prada and PVRIS, and their latest EP entitled Nowadays is available on most streaming platforms, Check out the title track below! The Band just finished a short tour around the country comprising of 9 dates over the course of 9 days. Unfortunately the last 3 shows were without support from the Southern Post-Rock band, Mountains Like Wax, however the three bands that opened for them- Port Key, Little Pirates and Shiver- fitted seamlessly onto the ballot. The show was an excellent showcase of underground music in the Northeast, and it’s unique blend of indie and alternative tock. It was great to see the turnout for these artists because it bodes well for the future of music in the Northeast!
