Alice Cooper just dropped the official music video today for his new single, "The Sound Of A"! A minimalistic and creepy (but still brilliant) song with a video to match, that brings to mind the visuals of A Perfect Circle's "Doomed". The iconic frontman released his first album in six years back in July entitled Paranormal, on which "The Sound Of A" is the last track. The album was internationally acclaimed- charting fourth in Germany and Australia and sixth in the UK and in Sweden, and Cooper is just off the back of a worldwide tour of over 100 shows. Check it the official video for the single below!
The song has a special meaning; it is, in fact, the first song that Alice Cooper wrote entirely on his own back in 1967. It was left to gather dust until Cooper's original bassist, Dennis Dunaway, found it and suggested that it should be considered for the new album. The single is also available as a limited edition10" white vinyl and includes four previously unreleased live songs recorded in Columbus, Ohio, on May 6.
