By Francesco Albanese Boston rockers Dropkick Murphys are showing the world in 2017 that they can’t be forgotten so easily. The band released their new album ’11 Short Stories of Pain and Glory’ earlier this January which has since received some of the best reviews in the band’s long history, even going so far as to reach No. 1 on iTunes charts.
The Boston Globe proclaims that “...they show no signs of mellowing with age” and even Newsday says, “Its most potent album in years.” The band’s new music video for ‘Paying My Way’ can be watched here. Frontman Ken Casey states that ‘Paying My Way’ is not just about paying your bills, it’s about doing what you have to do in order to be a good person. But at the end of the day, never losing sight of the fact that doing the next right thing may lead to great things one day.” The theme of rising up and empowering yourself and others in this album shines through the band’s own lives as they have been performing much charity work with their self-started organization The Claddagh Fund that reaches out to help addiction recovery, children, and veterans. Be sure to check tour dates and grab your tickets at their website as the band is setting out on their ’11 Short Stories of Pain and Glory’ tour starting February 21st until March 19th. March 15th through the 19th the band will be performing shows around Boston at venues like the House of Blues, the Agganis Arena, and more. By Francesco Albanese Deaf Havana is back and better than ever with their new album entitled ‘All These Countless Nights;’ the band’s first record with label SO Recordings. The band gave us a taste of what the record was going to sound like with their music video for the debut single ‘Fever’ which you can watch here. This video, along with tracks ‘Sing’ and ‘Trigger’ are confirmed to be part of a larger story as lead singer James Veck-Gilodi states, "I always loved the idea of having several videos that were all part of a bigger story, I felt like the three singles, ("Sing", "Trigger" and "Fever") were perfect for this as they all shared and underlying theme of feeling alienated and out of control.” The band has come a long way from their roots of ‘Meet Me Halfway, At Least’ and have reached a more serious and mature tone with this album. It’s a welcoming offering and we here at Headrush TV are all in for it. You can purchase their album on their website and listen to it on Spotify, iTunes, and Amazon. ‘All These Countless Nights’ track list:

After a busy summer in 2016, the band received an overwhelming positive public response which they answered with a four-song demo, which gained the attention of Bird Attack Records. Be sure to check them out as we’re very excited for what’s in store for these guys . Their EP is available now through Bandcamp, iTunes, Spotify and all other digital platforms.
