The career of Black Sabbath has truly been a Crazy Train. Not only did the metal pioneers lay the foundations for the three decades of heavy metal that followed them, but they influenced a generation with their original blend of hard hitting rock and roll. After 19 records and more than 45 years on the run, the legendary metal act is stepping off their throne. The band's latest promo for Ozzfest Japan 2015 reveals that Sabbath's last show will take place on the second night of Ozzfest November 22nd, with co-headliner Korn celebrating their 20th anniversary. As far as front-man Ozzy Osbourne is concerned this is just the end of this chapter of his musical career. The Prince of Darkness announced, “I am going to continue to do my solo stuff, but I can’t do the two at the same time. This Memoirs of a Madman package is to let everybody know that I haven’t abandoned my solo career … I’m doing one more Black Sabbath tour, one more Black Sabbath album, and then we’re disbanding the name, I believe. And then after that, I’ll be doing my solo stuff.” We will keep you updated as this story develops.
