If the Acoustic-4-a-Cure benefit wasn't already kick-ass enough, it proved to be even more so for Foo Fighter's fans. Last night at the concert held in San Francisco, Dave Grohl along with fellow bandmates Taylor Hawkins (drummer) and Rafi Jaffee (keyboardist) debuted a new song for the world.
In the video above, Grohl gives his rationale on the debut to the crowd, “I figured on the way up here, I thought, uh, f*** it — let’s play a new song man. We never played this in front of anybody."
The song titled "The Sky is a Neighborhood" marks the newest entry into the extensive Foo Fighters repertoire since the late 2015 release of the Saint Cecelia EP. The down-home rock tune resonated with fans with roaring approval, a positive sign of more Foo Fighters material to come.
