If Tye Trujillo is playing metal band bingo, he's sure beating us. Yes the 12-year old bass prodigy and son of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo is following in the footsteps of the ol' man and jamming out with Robert's former band, Suicidal Tendencies. Here's some footage of the guys jamming!
The video shown here was taken at the band's soundcheck before their free L.A. show on June 4th to unveil a mural of ST frontman, Mike Muir. However the band was sadly cut short after about a half-hour into their set by police due to some "rowdy" audience members.
This marks quite the year for the young bassist having just toured with Korn for their South American leg of their tour and absolutely crushing it and being able to jam with legends like ST. He certainly has built up quite a résumé for himself, not to mention his astounding skills on the instrument at only 12. Make sure to keep on the look out for this one because we're certain he'll be going places.
