It has been a tough couple of months for legendary metal act Megadeth. Not only has the band lost axeman Chris Broderick of 7 years, but long time drummer Shawn Drover as well. The two former members left the group almost in tandem and have recently announced their formation of a new unit with ex-Scar the Martyr vocalist Henry Bonner. Aside from front-man Dave Mustaine, Megadeth has had at least 18 band members over the course of its thirty-two year history. However former Deth drummer, Nick Menza may have just spilled the bean on who the new drum-man is stating in a YouTube comment, “Well since Adler is playing on Megadeth new album do I get to play on Lamb of God new album? I’m down for it. Chris, you rock! One of my favorite drummers. Good luck bro.” In addition to Menza's enlightenments, bassist Dave Ellefson has stated that the record is "pretty much done." We will have more updates on Megadeth's line-up and upcoming able as they are revealed.
*UPDATED 3/30/15* Lamb of God stick-man Chris Adler has officially entered Megadeth as confirmed by the band this weekend. The drummer commented on his entry with, “Megadeth was the game changer for me. Growing up, there was no other band that meant as much to my musical interest and direction. There is no doubt I would not be doing what I have been doing for the past three decades had I not stumbled across Killing Is My Business and the bible of all metal, Peace Sells, in my formative years.”
