More Metallica news? Yes please. New this week with the band, the No. 2 spot on Billboard's Top 200 saw "Hardwired... To Self-Destruct" just after Ed Sheeran's
"Divide." After a killer week of sales last week (a 209% increase), the album made it's way back to the top of the charts.
It's a big jump from last week's spot still at the lofty position of No. 14. This comes as no surprise however, with the relentless touring the band has done recently, a world tour no less. Don't forget about their explosive performance at the Grammy's this year with the legendary Lady Gaga.
We're officially dubbing this relentless Metallica news, the "Metallica Renaissance." Making sure never to let the people forget who made metal what it is today, Metallica is not showing any signs of slowing down any time soon, and we wouldn't want it any other way.
Show them some love this summer on their tour with Avenged Sevenfold, Volbeat, and Meshuggah, kicking off on May 10th in Baltimore, Md., at the M&T Bank Stadium.
