It's finally here. The stage has been set and the best of the best are set to duke it out one last time on the grandest stage of them all; the Super Bowl a.k.a. Tom Brady season.
It's almost a yearly tradition that Brady and company appear in the Super Bowl, and in most cases, win. And this year, historically speaking, has potentially been the easiest year for the Patriots considering the opposing signal-callers all playoff virgins, cough cough ... Marcus Mariota, Blake Bortles, Nick Foles.
Super Bowl 52 is a little over a week away, but as Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are on the verge of winning their sixth-ring since 2001 is easy to imagine that G.O.A.T. has accumulated many fans ... and enemies. Lets analyze.
Notable Patriot Fans
In a recent Twitter Q&A (something that actually might be the greatest thing to come out of the internet), the A7X frontman spilled the beans on his secret obsession with Tom Brady and the rest of the Brady Bunch. It's ok Shadows, you can't hide true love, I get it. Maybe try to get the rest of the guys to get on board instead of being teased by false post-season promises.. @steelers @raiders.
It's no secret that Marky Marky loves Boston, especially the New England Patriots. The actor-turned-burger mogul can often be seen frequenting with Patriot's owner Robert Kraft, taking in games from the owners luxury suite. Mark Wahlberg is such a big Patriots fan that one time, the Patriots play on a scoring drive sent the actor into such a state of shock that he completely denied RKK of a celebratory high-five. LOOK.
Aerosmith has its roots firmly grounded in Boston so this one makes sense (not that other two haven't?) Alright so here's the deal, in the 2011-12 season AFC Championship game between the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens, Tyler got the nod to sing the National Anthem and botched it. But Brady didn't let that shake him though and the Patriots prevailed in triumphant fashion, winning 23-20 thanks to a botched field goal. So essentially, Steven Tyler's botched vibes spread like the bubonic-plague and caused at the time Ravens kicker, Billy Cundiff to miss wide left. Thanks, Steven.
Notable Eagles Fans
Of course the Fresh Prince is rooting for the Eagles. While Philly has a very rich football history, the Eagles have actually never won a Super Bowl title. They're even the only team to defeat Vince Lombardi in a championship game predating the Super Bowl era.
Another Philly native, Cooper has been a lifelong Eagles fan. The actor even played a bi-polar Eagles fan in the critically acclaimed film the, Silver Linings Playbook.
Cooper was spotted at the NFC Championship game, where the Eagles exposed Case Keenum and the Vikings.
The actor-comedian was born in raised in Philadelphia and is often vocal with his hometown support. Hart once performed a stand-up set at sold out Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Eagles.
